What are cookies
Cookies are small text strings that the sites you visit send to your terminal (usually to your browser), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites the next time you visit. While browsing a site, the user may also receive cookies on his/her terminal device that are sent by different sites or web servers (so-called "third parties"), on which some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site he/she is visiting may reside.
There are different types of cookies:
- Technical and statistical cookies
- The main function of Technical Cookies is to facilitate the user's navigation of the Site. The use of such cookies (first or third party) and the processing of your data related to it, are necessary to enable us to make the content published on our Site available to you in an efficient and user-friendly manner, and do not serve any other or additional purpose. These also include functionality cookies that allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered.
- Statistical Cookies are assimilated to Technical Cookies in that they are used to collect information, in aggregate and anonymous form, about the number of users and the way they use the Site. These cookies allow us to know how visitors use our Site, so that we can assess and improve its operation and favour the production of content that best meets their information needs. For example, they allow us to know which pages are the most and least visited, they take into account the time spent on the site by the average user and how they arrive on the pages. In this way, we can know which elements to improve and how, as well as ensuring that our pages offer faster loading speed and correct visualisation.
The installation of such cookies and the performance of processing related to them does not require your consent under the applicable regulations.
- Marketing cookies
Typically profiling cookies, they are placed via third-party partner platforms. They are designed to create profiles of the site user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed during browsing. This type of cookie makes it possible to propose products and services in line with the user's data, interests and navigation paths. The legislation requires that the user be adequately informed about their use in order to give his consent.
