A company that has been part of the area's economic-productive history for more than a century, it preserves its historical memory in its industrial heritage - from the perfectly efficient mechanical machines to the precious archive of more than 200 hand-carved 19th-century casts in pear wood used for the strictly handmade rust-printing process.
The Museo d'Impresa consists of a space of over a thousand square metres in which the complete production cycle is carried out - from the transformation of wool into carded yarn to the various shuttle weaving techniques; from fabric finishing to knitwear - which is also a laboratory for product experimentation and edutainment, a place of learning and knowledge, in which the dynamics of low technology suggest new creative ideas.
A small archive collects the materials produced by Lanificio Leo for its research and experimentation activities, exhibition layouts, events organised or in which it has participated and international trade magazines. The historical archive can also be consulted by appointment.
The farm and the museum are part of the cultural tourism circuits and are open for guided school visits. Throughout the year it hosts various cultural events and workshops for learning and experimenting with different production techniques.
