VITES - Librandi Business Museum

vi.te.s.the Librandi winery's museum space, dedicated to wine and the knowledge of local winemakers, is attached to the former residence of the Rosaneti estate.

The early 19th-century building, which has become the heart and icon of the winery, houses on the ground floor a centuries-old walled palmento, the fulcrum of the museum spaces now being completed. It aims to keep alive the memory of local wine culture, with a rich collection of tools also enriched with the contribution of other local families, but above all it aims to illustrate the present and prefigure the future.

The earliest evidence of the area's wine-growing beginnings, precious artefacts, explanatory panels, maps, photos and working tools, as well as testimonies from the rural and domestic world tell the story of wine up to the present day.

The visit, however, also provides an in-depth look at the current avant-garde paths taken in the vineyards and cellar. And those projected into the near future, to tackle climate change and protect biodiversity. vi.te.s. is increasingly equipping itself with multimedia functions for virtual tours and 'immersive' experiences of the vineyards.

And already the innovative applications in the wine-tasting room allow interactive features to detect aromas and identify grape varieties.
